According to the Consumer Protection tag this was made between 1935-1959. Based on the style it was most likely made in the late 30s, early 40s. The fabric feels like a wool blend, the interior lining like a lightweight rayon. The buttons are very unique but all have damage they look like they were popped. Possibly celluloid or bakelite and about 7/8 inch across. No tears or holes on the exterior that I could find. The interior lining is very worn as shown. There are 3 spots pointed out in the photos that look like sun damage or bleed over from the buttons. Classic swing coat style with a long sharp collar and voluminous bottom. The cuffs have button holes but no buttons. The bust has a loose fit up to 42 inches, this could fit a modern size small or medium.
