This is a complete and beautifully preserved 8-piece Victorian silverplate tea and coffee service by James W. Tufts of Boston, each piece hand-engraved with the name Laura.
All pieces are stamped “James W. Tufts Boston Warranted Quadruple Plate 4501”, indicating high-quality quadruple silver plating and dating to the 1880s–1890s.
The set features elegant beaded edges, rounded Victorian forms, and a lovely aged patina with iridescent tones. Each piece has consistent engraving and matching pattern design.
